Darkfall looks pretty cool, however many of the features are in other MMO's. No levels concern me. Levels provide a tangible reason to keep playing as people NEED to feel like they are making progress . We all know what happens in a MMO when the Cap is to easily reached and the content isn't there to deal with it.
Really depends on how the Darkfall is balanced, skills level curve, how long it takes to get the best gear etc.
Vanguard was the opposite to LOTRO, Large world, very steep level curve and flopped (also because it was unfinished).
I get the feeling looking into Darkfall a bit, it may be another year away. It will need a huge development cycle to deliver those promises effectively. |

| SWG also had skill base leveling, it works well if done correctly. Vanguard was rushed and was nothing more than a beefed up everquest that was not complete prior to release. lag was horrid even on a descent pc and server connetivity also lacked. |
